Call for Papers
ICAAL is the principal regular meeting for presenting and discussing research on Austroasiatic languages and linguistics. The 12th International Conference on Austroasiatic Linguistics (ICAAL 12) will be held Oct. 23-25, 2024, hosted by the Linguistics Department, International College, Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This will be a hybrid conference, and participation is possible both in person and online. However, as this will be the first in-person meeting of ICAAL since ICAAL 8 in 2019, we hope to see as many of you in Chiang Mai as possible!
A call for papers for ICAAL 12 is now being circulated. We would ask you to please note the important dates below and to help us to inform all interested scholars about the conference.
Important Dates:
- Abstract submission deadline – June 30, 2024
- Notification of acceptance – August 15, 2024
- Conference dates – October 23-25, 2024
